‘Stars of Warrandyte’was the theme for the 2019 festival and the inspiration for the latest exhibit at the museum. It features both past and present ‘stars’- those residents who have made a difference to the community, the township and beyond over the decades.
This exhibit showcases some new ‘stars’. These include some of the up and coming younger residents who are making a name for themselves on a wider stage beyond Warrandyte as well as other, perhaps less well-known, achievers.
There are also banners featuring our historic landmark ‘stars’ – that is all the various landmarks along the river and Yarra Street. The banners can now be seen mounted on the fence at the museum. Keep an eye out for them.
