On Thursday 20 October over 40 people settled in to the Balcony Room at the Grand Hotel to hear about the early days of the Warrandyte Diary by Cliff Green and Jock Macneish.
The Warrandyte Diary has played a pivotal role in the history of Warrandyte. It started in 1970 as a 12 page newsletter and celebrates its 500th edition in September 2016. Cliff was the founder, writer, editor, mentor and trustee and Jock a cartoonist, contributor, mentor and trustee. Their tales were enthralling and entertaining, leaving the audience wanting more. A scrumptious supper prepared by Lynda Gilbert followed at the Museum.
A great night for all who attended.
